Art that connects, inspires, and celebrates the heart of our community.
Art in the Classroom
CAHEP’s in-school programs bring professional artists directly into classrooms, helping students explore creativity while supporting teachers in delivering arts-based learning. Whether through multi-week workshops, one-day sessions, or professional development for educators, each experience is designed to inspire imagination, confidence, and connection.
Art Club
Art Club brings the arts into the everyday rhythm of school life. This recurring program places local professional artists inside three Thunder Bay schools on a bi-monthly schedule, offering students a steady stream of hands-on creative experiences. Each visit opens a new door. One week it is painting, the next it is printmaking, the next storytelling or sculpture.
Art Club is multidisciplinary, culturally rooted, and guided by artists who understand the heartbeat of our community. It grows alongside the students, building trust, confidence, and curiosity with every return visit.
Days of Art
Days of Art is CAHEP’s one-day creative surge that reaches as many students as possible across the city. These standalone workshops turn classrooms, gyms, and community rooms into lively studios filled with colour, storytelling, movement, and cultural exploration.
Designed to meet students where they are, Days of Art expands access to arts, heritage, and cultural learning, especially for schools that may not have regular arts programming.
