CAHEP's Privacy Policy

The Community Arts & Heritage Education Project (CAHEP) is committed to protecting the privacy of our participants, donors, artists, and community partners. - Register participants for programs and events.
- Communicate about upcoming events, opportunities, and newsletters.
- Process donations and issue charitable tax receipts.
- Recognize funders, artists, and volunteers (with consent).
- Evaluate and improve our programs and outreach.

- Consent is collected through online forms, Eventbrite registration, or written/photo release forms.
- You may withdraw consent or unsubscribe from communications at any time by contacting us.
- Participants may opt out of being photographed at events by notifying staff in advance or on-site.
4. How We Protect Your Information
- Personal data is stored securely in password-protected systems (such as Google Workspace, GoHighLevel CRM, and Eventbrite).
- Access is limited to authorized staff and contractors.
- We do not sell or trade personal information.
5. Sharing of Information
- We may share information with third-party service providers (e.g., CanadaHelps, Eventbrite, Google, Stripe) for payment processing, registration, and communications.
- We may disclose information if required by law or if necessary to protect CAHEP’s legal rights.
6. Retention of Information
- Contact information is retained as long as you remain engaged with CAHEP.
- Financial and donor records are retained in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency requirements.
7. Access and Questions
You have the right to request access to your personal information, corrections, or deletion.
